Dear Gotthard,
You are way off base Usenet-wise (there is no invalidation of vote
because of "biased conduct" of the proponent, for starters), but I'm not
going to burden this list with the nitty-gritty of it.
Let me just ask you this: if some ten weeks of debate was not enough for
you to go into the vote, what would it help to replay the whole thing
again - after the six month mandatory hiatus that would be required were
the CFV to be withdrawn?

I reposited my archive of the debate on the proposal, from the pre-RFD
stage on, into the SENDDOC archives. Notice that the total is more than
500Kb, over 12K lines. It's split up into less than 64K chunks with filenames
'soc.culture.hungarian_Vita-1.1' thru 'soc.culture.hungarian_Vita-2.5' in
the /new directory; for access methods email . Its URL is
http://hix.mit.edu/cgi-bin/ekezet.123/hix/hixcore/senddoc/new/
Please note that two files, soc.culture.hungarian_Vita-1 and
soc.culture.hungarian_Vita-2 should be disregarded (they got improperly
truncated in transmission, the right version is contained in the other
pieces)! Use only the ones following the filename-pattern
soc.culture.hungarian_Vita-[12].[1-6]
Separate copies of the RFD and CFV are stored in that directory as well.

THe "neutral" third party doesn't seem very neutral to me. Why would a
neutral party include paragraphs supporting the name change along with the
voting instructions?

You're talking about the 'rationale' - that, like the charter and
everything but the voting instructions (and the 'Subject:' line) has
been prepared by me, the proponent. The vote is not conducted by me, but
a Usenet Votetaker Volunteer - someone who has no interest in our group
at all, but run votes on a lot of groups, is running a dozen or so right
now. If you want to learn about the newsgroup voting process, check out
the FAQ's that are available from the archives.

Could anyone either give me some information on this project,
or give me some idea where I could go to find information in
English.
I came across mention of this project in CET on-line in connection
with a Hungarian/Israeli space project.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Would someone have a primer on democracy handy, in particular a good
explanation of the one person-one vote principle.
If so, kindly send a copy to Mr Gotthard Saghi-Szabo who, in his frustration
over having only the same say in a democratic process as anyone else, is
trying to sabotage the whole process.
Thanks in anticipation,
George Antony
